Like every thing else that is born and follows a life cycle, roles also go through a life cycle. They are conceived are born, grow to their prime and then fade away into oblivion.
Just as individuals are born and eventually die but life, in its wholeness goes on endlessly, individual roles such as mother, father, manager, guru etc. are born and eventually end.
Tthe roles are taken over by some others because the task is never completed.
Unless you stop being the mother how would your girls get the chance to play the role of mothers and give it a new interpretation?
This is the way God's creation functions endlessly.
We by refusing to give up our roles (and other possessions) or by asking others to copy our role models, distort the smooth flow of life.
Let us assist God's work by giving up when the time comes.
