Time an empty vessel

We say, "Have a good day"
We wish our friends "A happy new year."
A day, an year are units of time.
Time is like an empty vessel.
We can take out of it, only what we put into it.
What are you putting in your empty vessel?

Answeing the Call

If an idea has come from within,
it is doable for you.
treat it as a command from your maker.
treat obstacles as stepping stones,
to proceed further.

The Festival

FOR ME EVERY DAY IS A FESTIVAL
to love, to cherish and to celebrate
I live in love
like fish in water.

Nothing to Know

Let us think without accumulating thought.
This is not thinking.
Then ideas (also called thoughts)are free to come and go.
Let the mind remain empty. Always.
This is no mind.
Then the spirit shines forth
and there is nothing to know.

Life

Life has no fixed purpose.
It does not move with at a pace of our choosing.
Let it be the boss and let us be its humble servants.

Love

Love or hate,
if they are a product of a fixed location,
are both ephemeral
and not very different in the residue they leave behind.
Get out of the cultural closet
in which the mind is locked
and experience pristine, unadulterated love.

A Retreat

A retreat is being with the self, immersed in it.
All interactions with the other are to be avoided
to experience the ONENESS of all creation.

Silence

do words have the power
to capture the mystery
of pain and passion
or of any thing else
for that matter?
see what a mess
I have made
by opening my mouth?
Let silence prevail.
Ganoba

Happening

Pain comes and goes,
God knows from where
and why?
songs sing in silence
for no rhyme and reason.
the mortal me thinks
I make it happen.

Creation

The world as created
by the supreme artist
is beyond classifications.
ugly and beautiful,
serene and turbulent,
awesome and boring
all and none
at the same time.
Make no effort and enjoy it,
try to see this and that
and it passes by.

The myth of Progress

How does one measure progress?
By comparing with a pre-determined standard.

When entering the spiritual domain, we are entering a space where no one has set a foot before. How then do we compare?
Here there are no standards, no yard sticks, no reference points. You are completely on your own with the creator. Just have a ball.
At least that is what I do.

Reality

This moment is the only reality.
All else is just speculation, the play of Maya.
