A friend has been diagnosed with terminal cancer of the liver. The doctors give her about 6 months life. what audocity! Are the God to give life.

The doctors have no prognosis in such cases.
They just give up.
Left to ourselves, we have to call up faith into play. If we do so,the situation becomes bearable, even enjoyable and productive.
Let us not depend too much on the specialists.

Spiritual Journey

The notion of forward-backward and a steady progress is based on the erroneous notion of a linear journey.
Evolution is a spherical process, alternatively expanding and contracting, pulsating all the time.
In the spiritual journey we are going no where. We enjoy whatever we are given to the full.
The sun does not go anywhere. It appears to be doing so because the earth is rotating and revolving and we think we are still. In this age we still believe, as if, we are the center of the universe.
A more appropriate example would be the process of digesting food. Can we go on eating all the time? The period between meals is not a waste of time. During this time essential processes of digestion and assimilation are going on.
In God's scheme nothing is a waste. Every thing has its value.

A Quite Mind

Quite waters not only truly mirror things, but more importantly show us what is beneath them, without any distortion.A quite mind not only gives accurate feed back about the outside world, it shows us our true nature.
It is, therefore, important to cultivate a quite mind.
Ganoba
We organise a program from time to time during which we spend time with each other, at least a 24 hour period, when we go about our daily chores, singly and collectively, in complete silence, also called arya maun, when no verbal communication, spoken or written, is used. What we come to know about ourselves, about each other and about or various believes is enlightening and liberating.
try it out and see it for yourself.
